Flexi-SealTM FMS je uzavřený systém vytvořený pro minimalizaci šíření infekce tekutou a polotekutou stolicí.
Je vědecky dokázané in vitro, že Flexi-SealTM FMS zastaví infekci C. difficile.1 Uzavřený systém pomáhá snižovat kontaminaci životního prostředí z jiných potenciálně patogenních bakterií, jako jsou širokospektrální bakterie produkující beta-laktamázu (ESBL) a Staphylococus aureus rezistentní na meticilin (MRSA).

Nozokomiální infekce jsou častou komplikací hospitalizace a jsou spojené s vyšší mírou úmrtnosti a nemocnosti.2
